A lot of gamers had already figured this out, but we found this out the hard way, last year, when some of the archaic database tools we used for our job would not work on a 64 bit operating system! There is a great little free program called DOSBOX (donations are encouraged!) that will enable older 16 bit programs to work. It was a little clunky running some DOS commands, but over all, worked as a good solution until we developed better tools. After you download this program and install it, you will have a file called dosbox.conf. You can edit this and put your mount command in under the [autoexec] line, down near the bottom. Then you won’t have to type the mount command, each time you run it.
